LandMark Implement's 360 Yield Center Test Plot Tours 2019

LandMark has partnered with 360 Yield Center who offers products focused on managing the nitrogen applied to corn to get the greatest benefit. In many cases, these methods are very different than those that are used in most operations. We have set out to work with some of our local customers to compare nitrogen management practices with the intent to keep all other variables the same, as much as possible.

The nitrogen management and soybean population test plot tours were held on August 20 (Lexington), August 22 (Kensington), and Aug 27 (Hastings). Topics focused on were the technology of the planter (ExactEmerge, IRHD, Connect Mobile), Nitrogen Management and other technologies like imagery from 3 different companies that we can compare and go see in the field.  We will also have information from our soybean population test plots at these plots as well.  Plus a demonstration showing the financials of the field in AgDNA.

  • Check out the soybean population trial – Will the low seeding rate soybeans yield with the higher seeding rates

• Hebron on September 4, 5:00PM

  • Pre harvest yield estimates show a 21.1 bushel advantage with the ExactEmerge Planter and 360 Yield Center Fertilizer system

  • Pre Harvest Yield estimates show a 12.2 bushel advantage with an ExactEmerge Planter with Independent Row Downforce in the same fertilizer system
