LandMark Implement Provides Local FFA Scholarship Opportunities to Deserving Students

LandMark Implement is sponsoring five scholarships to schools across Nebraska and KansasFFA

INDIANAPOLIS January, 2019/National FFA Organization – LandMark Implement is pleased to announce they are working with FFA to award college scholarships to local members. This is the seventh year of the John Deere Scholarship program. Last year, John Deere, awarded more than $230,000 in scholarships.

LandMark Implement is sponsoring five scholarships to schools across Nebraska and Kansas valuing $2,000 each through the National FFA Scholarship program. These scholarships will provide financial aid to FFA members attending to four year colleges.

"LandMark Implement believes in agricultural education,"  said Landmark’s recruiter, Deanna Karmazin. "FFA develops a members’ potential and helps them discover their talents through hand-on experiences, which gives them the tools to achieve real-world success in the work place. We like to hire FFA members because we know they come to the company already equipped with the tools to be successful.”

In 2018, more than 1,800 scholarships worth more than $2.8 million were awarded to FFA members through the National FFA Scholarship program, with more than 120 sponsors participating in the program. More than 8,800 students applied for these scholarships last year. This year, scholarship applications are available online through Feb. 06, 2019 at www.FFA.org/Scholarships
