As continued support for the LandMark Radio RTK network, we have upgraded the Hendley base station. The existing base structure was no longer suitable for use, so we have relocated the tower about 700 feet from the original location and have updated the base hardware to maintain reliability for years to come.
The Network ID and Frequency are unchanged, and you can continue use the tower with no interruption.
Network ID – 4032
Frequency – 463.25
However, due to the relocation, you may experience boundary and line shifts this spring. LandMark has tested the new tower using boundaries created from the old tower and have observed shifts of an inch or less. Shifts of similar magnitude will likely have minimal impact on field work.
Line shifts are easily corrected on the display and will not need conversion. In the event of problematic boundary shifts, LandMark has access to a tool to convert these guidance lines and boundaries. If you have concerns, please contact your local Customer Technology Specialist below to review your setup and determine options to prepare for planting season.
